Dr. Salman Tahir Shafi is a leading nephrologist in Lahore, known for his extensive experience of nearly 20 years in kidney health.

EDUCATION

He graduated from King Edward Medical University in 2001, completed  his internal medicine training at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit, Michigan USA and  nephrology training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa city, Iowa USA. EXPERIENCE

Currently, he serves as a Professor of Nephrology at Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College and as a consultant nephrologist at Farooq Hospital Westwood Branch, Lahore. He has previously worked in various clinical and academic positions in USA and Pakistan.

QUALIFICATIONS

He is an American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, Fellow of American College of Physicians, Fellow of American Society of Nephrology and Certified Hypertension Specialist by American Society of Hypertension.

He has published numerous articles in both local and international journals, with particular interests in hypertension and chronic kidney disease.
